Review content:
I had been dying to go , and restaurant week was a perfect opportunity to go. We arrived decor was great. The prix fix menu left much to be desired so we order for the regular menu. The empanadas were good, but not great. My husband had a chicken dish...nothing spectacular. He didn't like it very much. I had fish, It was okay. I guess want I want to say my experience there was very mediocre , nothing special and nothing that would make me want to return and spend $80 on food that I didn't really like. and service please... They only had one waitress and the place was pretty crowded. We had to wait longer than appropriate for almost everything. food... drink... we were going to order dessert but the wait was too long.. so we had to wait for the bill too. I saw other people trying to get her attention so they could pay their bill too. So overall that was a real problem. In closing the mojitos were good, but you can get good mojitos a lot of places. Also, we asked them to wrap up our leftovers, which they did but.. they put my coconut fish and shimp, which was in a very creamy sauce,my husband's grilled chicken dish also in a little sauce, rices and beans(in sauce) in one container. One very small container, no dividers, food piled up on top of each other. gross for me, but my husband ate it any way. Overall for cuban food, it was ok but definitely not for the money that was spent. Pros: Ambience Cons: service, mediocre food
