Review content:
After seeing a couple of the negative reviews on here I felt I should speak up. I have been going to Aqualand for some time now and it is easily my favorite aquarium shop. They probably have the best fresh water selection in the state (I personally haven't seen any better) and no matter what kinds equipment I need, they seem to have it in stock. They have a large variety of food and plants and their aquarium show room is easily the nicest around. \r \r My favorite part about Aqualand is the staff. They are always friendly and eager to help. One thing that I have noticed is that when they ask ""Can I help you?"" they don't mean ""Can I sell you something?"", they really mean ""Can I HELP you"". On several occasions I have gone in to the store, thinking I needed to buy or replace something only to have them ask a few questions and give me some great advice - this last time I thought I needed to replace my filter so I brought it in with me so I could get a similar one. One of the staff asked if he could look at it, he then took it apart, cleaned it a little and handed it right back to me in working condition. I was ready and willing to spend $70 on a new filter that day, but they just cleaned my current one and gave it back to me - at no charge. They honestly and sincerely seem to care more about the fish and their customers more than the quick sale - So I really do not agree with the 'used car salesman' comments that I have seen here. \r \r I do still shop around, but Aqualand is always my first choice for fish and advice, and it is where I end up making almost all of my purchases. I also have recommended plenty of friends and they are all happy with their purchases. \r \r Give these guys a shot, you wont regret it. Pros: Great selection of fish. Huge show room. The nicest staff of any fish store. Cons: They close at 6PM on Saturdays - I prefer to shop a little later on weekends.
