I'm from the Bay Area and my husband was so proud of this restaurant in Burbank called Castaway. On a weekend vacation in SoCal, we decided to check out this restaurant and found that they have it also in San Bernardino. And so we made a reservation for 7pm and we got there on time. They asked us if we want to be seated inside the restaurant or outside where they have a live jazz band. We opted for the latter and they told us that we're gonna have to wait coz it's not what we reserved. We agreed to that and one hour later we're still waiting. Once we got situated on our table, nobody even bothered to get what we wanna drink. So we ordered our main course together with the drink already. Most of us ordered steak. It took like more than an hour before we finally got our food and my husband wasn't happy with his order because it was cold. They offered to reheat it for him but he didn't have the appetite anymore after having him wait for 2 hours before he could eat. My sister didn't like her steak, as well, because it was overdone. I, myself, was quite happy because my steak was so tender and juicy. Little did I know, it was medium rare as opposed to my order which was medium. I didn't know that until we got home because the only lighting we had at the restaurant were were 2 candles on our table. Now I don't like to eat steak anymore because of the raw steak that they served me at Castaway Restaurant in San Bernardino.
