We were on the return leg of a holiday road trip from Arizona to Seattle and happened to land at the Holiday Inn Express in Cottage Grove. We were traveling with two greyhounds, so finding a pet room was the priority. We were able to map our our trip in advance of leaving so we went ahead and made reservations online with our room.\r

Upon arrival, we discovered that we were the only scheduled reservation for the evening. The front desk clerk was personable, if a bit bored, and made a nice dinner recommendation to the town diner for our dinner.\r

Our pet room was absolutely adequate, clean and neat...your average motel room. The room had a fridge, which was very convenient as we were traveling with holiday leftovers and goodies. \r

We've had good luck with the Holiday Inn Express chain and would recommend them to anyone road-tripping throughout the West coast.\r
