I've had a pair of Doc Martin sandals for well past what most shoes would make it. They are my favorite shoes for summer time. I have gotten my $125 worth from them, I've had them about 10 years now. I took them to a shoe repair shop in Plano and the owner told me that they could be fixed however it would cost me $60 bucks...now normally I would just go buy another pair, but as I said I love these. So I reluctantly spent the money to have them fixed. Well I should have second guessed my decision before paying the $60 bucks, I have now taken the shoes back twice, due to the soles not staying glued. I do not beleive at this point there is a fix for these shoes. I must say that I was less than disappointed with the repair, I have asked for a refund, but the owner still says he can fix them again! I am tired of taking them back in and having to pick them up. I think at this point I will rectify the matter with the bank.
