Review content:
***NOW KNOWN AS VIEWS OF BRENTWOOD*** We had searched for apartments all down I-65 for a couple of months. I drove by these apartments every day, but never stopped, knowing that Brentwood prices would be sky high. On a whim, one day, I dropped by. The initial impression was fantastic. Diana, the assistant property manager, took the time to really go over the available options as far as numbers of bedrooms and baths that were available. She explained that some units were very recently renovated, but others were either in the process or planned for a later date. I agreed to be shown a 2 bed, 2 bath (actually 1 bed, 2 bath with a loft, but we're using the loft as the master) unit near the entrance to the area. When we walked in, there was a very strong paint smell (we've now been here 2 weeks and it's gone) from a fresh repainting. The carpet appeared to be new (which was later confirmed as the case). Cabinets in the galley kitchen were on the shallow side, but able to be worked with. There was a new sink, with a new goose-neck faucet. The counter tops were VERY dated woodgrain, from the early 80's, it appeared. The same counters were in both bathrooms. Overall first impression was about 3.5 stars. They were obviously still fixing some problems left behind from the last tenant, but it appeared that they were making progress. Diana explained that the unit wasn't ready for another few days, and I figured that would make the difference.
