Review content:
My son has had more physical injuries at this school from staff than any other school. Patty Parkinson (social worker in the school) will stab parents in the back if they stop showing absolute support for the school due to both parents working full time. She will call DFCS (Family Services) as well if your child has an injury and even tells Parkinson and other staff what happened. Parkinson will only believe the child if the child implicates his or her parents. Since our son has been attending Coastal Academy he has come home with injuries sustained from staff trying to restrain him and his behavior has gotten worse due to the fact he is with the other children that all ""feed"" off of each other's behavior. The curriculum is below normal grade level as opposed to regular school. Do not send your child to this school. Please work with your children and give them a second chance at regular school.
