Review content:
I've been going to Outback for over 5 years and have purchased 2 kayaks from them. They really know their stuff and are pleasant to do business with. I did a bunch of research before I bought my first kayak and went to some of the big box stores. Now that I know Outback has the gear, the staff, and the good prices, I never shop around anymore. It's actually a good feeling not having to stress out about simple purchases. I know where to get my kayak gear and I like supporting my local mom and pop. I like the friendly shop dog that hangs out there too. \r

Oh... they also have kayak rentals during the summer at Stevens Creek Reservoir. I've brought friends there who are just starting to kayak. I would reccommend checking that place out if you are just getting started.
Pros: Specialty small shop with a pleasant atmoshphere and good gear.
