Review content:
I hired ""The Finishing Lady"", Ronnie Lamm (sp?), the first week of July 2007 to finish a needlepoint pillow. I provided some very expensive backing fabric and trim with my needlepoint canvas. She SEEMED nice and promised my completed pillow within 2 weeks. After not hearing from her for 5-6 weeks I finally contacted her and she said she had an illness in her family and hadn't finished it yet. I tried to be gracious and asked her to finish as soon as possible. Well, to make a very long story short, I contacted her at least a dozen times over 7 1/2 months asking for the pillow. She told me she had completed it in October. She told me she had attempted to drop off the COMPLETED pillow at my house on two different occasions, but found that I wasn't at home (she neither called any of my phone #'s nor left a note at these alleged visits). Finally I began calling her almost every day during the 2nd/3rd week of February 2008---leaving messages requesting my pillow. Tonight she called to tell me she had just left my needlepoint on my front porch (she didn't ring my doorbell and I was home). She had done absolutely nothing during the entire 7 1/2 months. My needlepoint and expensive fabrics and trims were still in the (now completely torn down one side) original nice shopping bag in which I had given them to her, but now it was all in a plastic trash bag tied tightly at the top. When I opened the bag, it smelled terrible -- just like cat urine! I called her and she denied having a cat, but said she would pay to have it dry cleaned. I want nothing more to do with this person and strongly advise that anyone else think long and hard before trusting her. I wish I could leave 0 stars, but I am required to leave at least one---she doesn't deserve it.
