Myself and a group of friends went to Giorgio's one night, after hearing a rave review from a close friend who used to work there. We walked in at 9pm on a Saturday night, and the place was empty! Also, very poorly lit, and the servers all dressed in black with very dark hair and dark makeup. We were seated and started off with salads that tasted as if they were drowned in salt. They were so salty we couldn't eat them! Our server was extremely short with us and had acted as if we were bothering him. Our food finally arrived, extremely large portions for a decent price, but the food had no taste, and way too much parsley for decoration. A friend of mine had managed to wave down the assistant manager, and told her what a problem we had been having with our server and our food. From one extreme to another, the food was way too salty, then it was way too bland! The manager then told us that the salad dressing was not their fault, since they order it in bulk from another company. She insisted to re-cook our meals personally, but we declined. The food was so awful, we didn't want to take any chances! She offered boxes and said she would speak to our server personally. In return, our server literally threw our boxes on the table, and did not offer to re-fill drinks or take plates out of the way. The assistant manager had compensated our checks 50% , but the damage was already done! Next time I visit Wilmington, I will not being dining at Giorgio's!
Pros: Very nice restrooms, large poritons for decent amount of money
Cons: horrible service, bland food
