went on a friday night with my boyfriend, the friendly hostess at the front door made the food sound wonderful so we stopped in... lo and behold the food was everything she described and more, a great wine selection and an eclectic menu. Tapeo has a knowledgeable staff who explains the food and wine with ease, making new comers to this way of eating feel comfortable. The ambiance was delightful with spanish (i think) jazz playing in the background, low tables and low lighting with candles everywhere made it a great date night, however there was a party of 6 people who seemed to just be hanging out drinking and enjoying a friendly meal, so i would def bring friends there for a great night out. Went back and tried the new brunch menu saturday morning (served sat AND sunday) and it is DELICIOUS, I cant wait to go back this weekend.
Pros: great food, great wine list, great waitstaff
Cons: wish i lived closer!
