Businiess name:  Cafe East Chinese Restaurant

Review content:
All my family living locally, goes to this restaurant for a good Chinese buffet. While it is probably the best in Humble to eat at, it is most definitely not the best in Houston. The food is really good, for a buffet, and kept fresh and consistent. The wait staff is very attentive and quick to serve. The space provides an open seating arrangement and plenty of choices where you would prefer to sit. My main complaint is the $9.00 take out. Not only is the price raised to $9.00 for a take-out that equals only one serving, but we were charged 1st before getting the food-to-go and the provided container was very small. To top it off, when we asked for a small to-go bowl for the soup or dessert - we were told that it would be $3.00 extra for each additional container. So, if I wanted a single plate serving worth of food, along with a dessert and soup (that I would get with my buffet meal, for no additional charge eating in), the cost of my meal would be at least $15.00 (before taxes). What made it even more of a problem was when I asked the manager why it was like that, he replied that it was just policy and that his bosses don't explain to him why and that it's not his place to ask why. That ""that is just the policy. Needless to say, we asked for a refund on our take-out order and promptly received it back. So if you are going to this buffet and don't want to spend whole lot, don't take-out. \r \r Pros: Food, Variety, Space, Service Cons: Take-home Price and Portions, Management/Ownership Attitude
