Businiess name:  Xanh Restaurant

Review content:
Took my parents to Xanh on a Sat night to try for the first time. We liked that the menu offered traditional Viet dishes (my parents are traditional Vietnamese folks) but didn't think the subtle ""twists"" on the dishes, coupled w/ the small portions, justified the high prices. Our favorite dish, ironically, was the raw ahi tuna served in a martini glass w/ a quacamole-like concoction-- not a traditional Viet dish, BTW (maybe spanish inspired?). Overall, we thought the restaurant was too pretentious for our taste and I can't help but get the feeling that this was a modern American restaurant that happens to be serving Viet food. The decor and environment are more suggestive of an American dining experience. I'd like to come back for drinks w/ friends, though... seems like a good environment for that.
