Review content:
\r I am surprised by the negative comments about this spa. I was there for the 1st time last week, and found it to be one of the best spa experiences that I've ever had. I note that most of the other reviews are referring to the doctors; I went in for a massage, so there were no doctors involved. But in terms of the people working there, both at the front desk and the practitioners, I found them all to be professional, friendly, outgoing, & most important, skilled!\r \r I felt totally pampered by this experience. Once you get into the back area, there is a short orientation by staff. First stop- a changing room with locker for possessions. I was given a plush robe & slippers and then led into the relaxation room for a 15 minute foot bath, soft music, overstuffed chair, fire place, and fountain. Snacks were available for all, and went above and beyond- gourmet tea, water with lemon, almonds, cranberries, gourmet crackers. My massage therapist was Shelbie. She took me back to the private room with heated table, and we discussed the areas that I wanted to have her focus on. Then came an hours worth of luxurious massage. She was amazing! When we were done, she let me back to the relaxation room and invited me to stay as long as I needed or wanted. \r \r Finally it was back to the preparation room where showers were available, complementary lotions, lip scrub, and other products, as well as hair dryer, etc. All told, I spent about 2 1/2 hours of truly relaxing time at Arvasi, and I will definately be back. In fact, I scheduled another massage for two months down the line before I left. Bonus: there is a Famous Dave's across the street! Since I came in from Milw. I was ready to eat after the spa.\r \r Now, it could be that the medical side of the place is as the other reviewers wrote, but when I informed the staff of the neg. reviews, they were already aware of them, saying they suspect former employee with sour grapes. Don't let that stop you from going! It was truly wonderful! Pros: Free foot bath and relaxation room!
