Review content:
When I discovered mickey's I was blown away! Their fish sandwiches were the best anywhere and it seemed like such a quaint place. HOWEVER....the last 2 times I have been there (in the past year and a half), this place has CHANGED. The first time I got a grilled chicken sandwich which I should not have even eaten. The chicken was so tough and gross that I threw 3/4 of it away. I vowed to never get the grilled chicken sandwich again. The next time we went, I got the reliable fish sandwich. YIKES! The fish was so tough and well done, it resembled something like pork rinds and was almost beyond eating. If I wasn't so hungry I would've brought it back, but I didn't want to cause a scene. ALSO, they have cut their hours down and the staff is usually not that nice when you go in. Who knows what is going on there, but it is a REAL disappointment. We will not return. It seems from the amount of people we used to see there compared to now that others must be experiencing the same thing. Too bad, hope they get their act together.
Pros: Used to be good.
