After three two surgeries, Michael B. was told that he should go to a nursing facility for short-term care. Despite Michael’s apprehension and some pre-conceived notions about going to a nursing facility, he chose to go to Gladeview Rehabilitation and Health Care
Michael says, to his initial surprise, “that it wasn’t long before I was on a first name basis with the staff. Gladeview has completely changed with way I feel about Short Term Rehabilitative Care. At Gladeview, the nurses and aides could not be more receptive to a person’s needs and respect for privacy, frequently offering their personal time to make me more comfortable. The Gladeview staff demonstrates a true compassion for the person as a whole. From the quality of activities provided during “down time” to the outstanding emotional support provided by all staff, Gladeview Rehabilitation and Health Care is truly a symbol of people caring for people”.
