I adopted an adult dog, and had no idea of his health history. BRAC helped me understand everything, and recommended local pet services (washing, kennels, etc) for me, which was a big help.
I know that the costs of vets varies a lot, and I'm not sure where BRAC falls in the low/high range, but they do telll you the cost before they do anything sdo you can decide what to do. I also bought my dog's heartworm/flea preventative there, it was the same cost as online, but obviously same day and no shipping.
