Brashear Towers is absolutely cruel! The building manager is a tyrant. She puts fear into the residents and has made it absolutely a prison. Residents are not allowed to sit and visit with each other in the lobby, they must stay in their units. There are areas on each floor that have a nice roomy space to have a table and few chairs and be able to look out the window, but this women has made it her rule that they may not sit there and visit or play cards. This is a federally owned building yet she allows smoking in it. Oh by the way she smokes! Many of the residents visit this smoking room and leave their oxygen tanks out the door. This seems like a huge fire risk! This building manager is a bully! She needs to be removed from this building yet no one will help these seniors. They live here in fear and are losing their wonderful spirits. This manager has major control and power issues and needs to be removed. This is such a crime. Beware of living here. She puts fear into these people that they will lose their homes is they don't comply with her rules. \r
