First, let me say Sam's Club is a wonderful store and it personnel are great people. However: One of the biggest mistakes I ever made was to get involved with Sam's Club Credit!!! The Card is sponsored by GE Money. Crooks, Thieves every one, beyond believe. It is hard to believe this credit system is legal. I made the mistake of using the Sam's Club Credit Website. I September 2007, I had a computer burned up by a lightning strike. This left me with out Website access for 6 months. During that time I repeatedly request a paper bill (you can not have both). I was told the only way I could get a paper bill was to change my setting on the website. I am disabled which makes it difficult to get around.
When I;did finally get a new computer I tried to log-in to the web site but was denied access. I do not knwo why!! Sam's Club Credit / GE Money refused to work with me getting access to the site and refused to send me a paper bill. This went on for 1 YEARS and 5 Months. I know it is hard to believe but I can prove each and ever word.I filed complaints with the State, Federal and everyone I could think of. This started October 2007 and it took until March 2009 to get my statements. And quest what?? Sam's Club Credit / GE Money changes the Due Date when ever they want to. So I had no way to determine the Due Date. And as I said, I am Disabled so I live on a fix-Income and must make payment only once a month and only after my Social Security check arrives.
So, there's my story. Credit buyer be ware!!
PS:
I sent a payment by mail. The first time in several years. It came back for no know reason. The Payment just showed up in my mail box after the due date. I still do not know why it came back. BEWARE of GE MONEY
Pros: A Very Good Place to Shop
Cons: Sam's Club Credit WORST EVER.
