My husband and I stopped in for lunch after driving 7 hours from Salt Lake looking for a nice, quick lunch. We walked into Rowdys and stood there for a minute until someone behind the bar yelled to us, ""bar or restaurant?"" It was kind of weird but we said restaurant. Then some guy suddenly appeared and sat us down. We were really excited for some Mexican food after our long drive. A waiter came over and took our order. When we received our food it was wrong but we didn't know it until we cut into it. We had ordered shredded beef but got ground. On top of that my taco salad shell was burnt. I didn't say anything at first but once I took a bite I decided this needed some attention. On top of this my salad was completely bland. I thought I'd put some salsa on it, and since I usually don't eat the shell anyway, salsa would do the trick. Well, our ""waiter"" never came over. Not once! He was chatting with the bartender. They were just chatting and more or less ""hanging out."" There was even a customer behind me and I heard him ask if he could get a menu (this is when we got our food and he had been sitting there when we came in). Anyway, I can say the atmosphere wasn't bad, but if I were you, the only thing I'd order is a bucket of beer because you know how its going to taste and since you won't get any service it will last you a while.
