A Dog's Life is like an upscale sleepaway camp for your pooch. Carla Barbano runs an excellent boarding facility right out of her spacious house and huge yard in rural Middletown. Dogs are free to romp and play here and do they ever!
She is expert in the likes and dislikes of dogs (and their owners) and takes great pains to ensure that your animal is well cared for while you're away. A former vet tech who loves dogs, this lady is a find!
My dog loves this place (he leaps out of my car when we approach her street); I literally won't schedule a trip unless I reserve space for my dog with Carla first. My dog is happy, bathed and well cared for at A Dog's Life.
Holiday & summer vacation weeks are busy so book early--especially for larger dogs since space is limited.
