Review content:
Originally built by William Fox, for the Shriner's of Atlanta, but after the depression, became the ultimate movie palace. As a kid, Saturdays, were spent at The Fox, we had to have balcony seats, to watch the clouds float by. The Mighty Mo would play during intermissions, and real buttered popcorn. Check out the restrooms, Cleopatra, would be proud. Ma Bell almost took the Fox down during the '70's, but Atlanta's best citizen's banded together, to save the Fox. And we did. A major restoration project followed, with a digital Marquee, and the old girl was as good as new. Today occasional movies, but performing arts, and special events shine behind The Mighty Mo!
Pros: The Only Place In The City For The Arts! An Atlanta Icon!
