Review content:
I have been studying martial arts for over 20 years. I have been looking for a place that teaches traditional martial arts with an emphasis on practical combat application. I believe I have found the place! \r
When I first walked in, the staff was very helpful and made me feel extremely comfortable right away. There was absolutely no ego (which is all too common amongst most dojo's these days.) They introduced me to the teachers and showed me around the dojo. The dojo itself is extremely beautiful and quite large, not only do they have the main training area, they have a seperate room for Yoga, Pilates and Kickboxing and a private gym right next door. A very well-rounded dojo. I was most impressed by the quality of instruction, however. They teach traditional forms of martial arts for Karate and Jiu Jitsu and there black belts seem very well rounded. For my first few classes I was partnered with a few of their black belts (I think they did this to ease me into their dojo). Each one of them was polite and very respectful towards me, but quite proficient in what they were doing. They did everything from striking, grappling, kata, joint-locking and throwing and were able integrate there techniques very well! I was and have been very impressed ever since I joined! I am very happy with Satori, they have opened my eyes up to many different possibilities in Martial Arts!
Pros: No testing fees, variety of qualified instructors, great with kids!
