Review content:
My daughter is 9 and started at MuDo Martial Arts in October 2012. She was having trouble with attitude and listening but was not interested in joining a sports team. After doing some research, Taekwondo was the way we went. There are many locations that offer Taekwondo so we looked at locations that had a free trial class. MuDo Martial Arts offers their first class free and has a $99 dollar 9 week special. We thought this was a good length of time to see if she really liked the classes without having to sign a lengthy contract and if they were going to be benificial for her. Paula the office manager was so nice when we walked into the studio. She welcomed us and asked us right away how she could help us and wanted to know if my daughter would like to go onto the mat to join the class. Master Daniel Lee is the Instructor and he is very good with the kids. He is very patient and knows what he is teaching. He takes time durring and after class if needed to reexplain to the kids if they are having trouble getting their footwork down. He also comes off the mat at the end of class to talk to the parents and make sure that everyone understands and will take the time to answer any questions. Master Daniel keeps a good grip on his studio and firmly but nicely reminds them of the right behavior so that they respect him not fear him. My daughter has improved on her listening skills and her attitude has come more on the positive side. She is 9 so she still has her moments. We did sign up for the next year as this place seems to be very positive and has a family friendly atmosphere. Please stop by and give this place a look and take your first class for fee.
