Review content:
I would steer clear of this place. UPS recently lost our very valuable package containing 8 original pieces of art. The UPS store manager, Mr. Robert Rickman, has been less than interested in helping to resolve this issue. Various times has he hung up the phone while we are in the middle of a conversation. It has been a grueling process trying to get any information on what is actually being done to find our package. Mr. Rickman is obviously not interested in Customer Service and satisfaction. \r
\r
In the end, we are left with a check for a miserable $100 plus our shipping fees returned, when our package was actually valued at $4000. \r
\r
One thing to note for all you UPSers... When going through a ""UPS store"", you are not exactly a customer of UPS the company/carrier. The contract is between the UPS store and UPS the carrier. So you are bascially left out in the dark as the 3rd party. Real shaisty stuff. So if by chance UPS happens to lose one of you packages and you try calling the UPS toll free number to get some answers, all they're going to do is refer you back to the UPS store to get more information. Your contract is with them, not UPS. And good luck if you try to get any information from the people working the UPS stores. There is no upper management or actual corporate that will really hear your pleas. \r
\r
So again, steer clear of this place, or any UPS store for that matter. Try to either deal with UPS directly or just head over to your local US Post Office or even FedEx. UPS has a very high rate of lost packages. Don't take any chances.
Pros: I guess it's in the neighborhood
Cons: just read my comments
