The Goodwill Corporation has forgotten what its mission is suppose to be.\r Goodwill in Charleston, Mt. Pleasant and around America have the belief they are :Upscale stores-Art experts-Appliance Stores. Goodwill gets everything FREE. If Kohl's-Target-Wal Mart etc. got everything FREE they would love it. Goodwill is suppose to offer those with needs and limited CDI the opportunities to upgrade their lives by offering items at REASONABLE prices. That is so far from what GW does it is incredible. Whomever prices Art items has absolutely NO CLUE ABOUT ART (that is verified by the fact they put the price sticker ON THE ART'S FACE. Then when the sticker is removed the art is harmed). But more importantly when the old price tag from the store is STILL ON THE FRAME and it is LESS THAN THE PRICE GW IS CHARGING, that is RIDICULOUS.\r And have you ever noticed there are rare, rare offerings of old items, vintage items or items of antiquity.\r I have been told all across America by GW employees and forrmer employees ,it is because the GOOD STUFF IS SNIPED IN THE BACK ROOM. \r From clothing for adults to children, it is all over priced to those who really are on limited income or fixed income.\r So I do not buy the radio and television ads and prints about how we should give ,give and give more to GW.\r Look around any GW store and tell me where I am wrong.\r And who is paying for all the ads--WE BUYERS who are overcharged for the merchandise.\r Look next time and see if you see any of the following: Cigarette lighters-pipes-smoking materials of any kind.\r Why are they absent? Because they sell them at high out of store prices on web sites, in the opinion of me and many others.\r Where is all the donated vintage clothing ? \r Re-read the line above.\r Do you see much iF any canvass art?\r Do you see much if any vintage hand operated appliances Ca 1930s through the 1970's?\r And HAVE you ever seen a P&L offered up by GW Inc?\r But wait , you say GW is a NON PROFIT organization NOPE!\r Pros: they are disease free buildings Cons: over priced, wihhold many items
