Review content:
I went to this shop a few years ago with the intention of building a 340 stroker, unfortunately my goals were were bigger than my budget. Anyways I got about as far as a cleaning, magnufluxing, sonic check of the cylinder walls and ran out of cash. I left the block at Tims shop for at least a year got desperate for cash and figured it was worth a shot to go down there to see if they had it. Luckily they did have it in the shop and after a little bit of a hard time they gave up the block. So even though I wasn't able to build my engine it was still a pretty good experience at allen motorsports both Tim and the kid thats into imports (sorry man I forgot your name a few beer bongs ago) are pretty knowledgeable and the completed short block next to the front desk seemed to be machined pretty well (good cross hatch on the cylinder walls and a credit card straight deck). Good luck to the guys at Allen Motorsports hope this review helps. Oh yeah, whats up with no mahle pistons? Get that taken care of Tim.
