I had my children come to Gene Stephens Swim School because my Mother-in-law had great memories of my husband and his brothers getting lessons there and she was very pleased! The price and flexibility was also very appealing! So I took my son, who had thus been very afraid of the water and getting submurged, and by the first two lessons he was able to swim from the steps to Johnny (I believe Gene's grandson) underwater! Johnny worked wonderfully with my son (then 5 years old) who gave him a little trouble when he got nervous. My daughter who was 3 at the time also improved by leaps and bounds after just a handfull of lessons. All the lessons were one on one. I am going back this swim season because of what a good job Johnny did with my kids!
Pros: your kids will be able to swim or if younger, will be able to safely get out of a pool w/out help
