I am a native Virginian who has moved out of state. On a recent visit, someone suggested we try The Chesdin since it was under new ownership. What an awesome experience we had! The view was breath taking, the staff was friendly and welcoming and the food... WOW! I'm still trying to find the seasoning they used on their vegetables! We were given 2 types of bread (hushpuppies and french bread) which suited everyone at the table. My filet was cooked to perfection and my husbands is still raving about the seafood platter. The portions were huge and everything was fresh. Our server Karen was friendly, knowledgable and attentive. We will without a doubt return to this restaurant every time we are in Virginia! Good luck to the new owner and keep up the great work!
