I discovered my little slice of Seafood & Steak heaven about a year ago when I moved to Chester. We went at least once a month for the excellent food and the great view. It was a little pretentious for us, and we didn't really feel comfortable with some of the ""snootiness"". I'm so happy with the new owner that we now try to eat there weekly! The food is as good, if not better than it was, and the ambiance is perfect, it is Southern Dining at its finest! The waitresses always great you with a smile and you feel comfortable no matter what your attire. Some diners are in formal attire, many are in jeans or shorts, looking like they came in straight from their boats. There is an attached dock, so it is perfect for your evening stroll after the meal, with the twinkling stars reflecting off the water. The new owner makes it a point to try to meet each table and make you feel at home. I highly recommend Chesdin Restaurant to anyone who wants a great meal at a great price, with an exquisite view!
