How this won the ""CitySearch poll"" for ""best Italian"" I have not a clue. Loud, souless and too trendy for this pup's taste! The pasta dishes (like crab in vodka sauce) are bland and the specials (seafood and pizzas) are okay but nothing to fret over by any means of the imaginary tastebuds. Only the wine list--and perhaps the appetizers are what brought me back two more times after the initial taste test. But the place to ""see and be seen"" deal has gotta go... in L.A. maybe that's considered cool, but Salt Lake? Come on... that's an oxymoron (SLC/cool)! Pros: worthy wine list, dessert selection, appetizers Cons: too trendy, loud (huh?!)
