I have a lot of premium denim that I take to him. I usually get the hem done so he attaches the original back on so it doesn't even look hemmed. With those, they have really perfected their technique and I don't think any other tailor/alteration place can beat. They really are the best at that. The price is also really great at least compared with other cities. However, if you have jeans that need a regular hem job done, ones with no distressing, then I would NOT take these there whatsoever. No matter how much I stress that I want it to look like it originally did, they don't do it. The width was not the same, the thread was much thinner, they did not use colored thread on the inside, etc. They just rush through these as quickly as possible not paying attention to details. So bring your jeans here just as long as you don't ask need a regular hem done.
