Review content:
We went to Bombay Bistro tonight for dinner. We arrived at about 9pm, an hour before the kitchen closed, and were warmly welcomed by the chef/owner. We ordered vegetarian and meat entrees, all of which were authentic and delicious. Since we live in an Indian American community in New Jersey, we have sampled many different Indian cuisines and restaurants, and believe we have high standards for Indian food; this restaurant definitely rates among our favorites.\r

Perhaps most outstanding are the ambiance and vibe of the restaurant. While the decor is gorgeous and classy, the chef and his wife make the place seem very homey (it helped that they had their baby daughter and her grandmother walking around with them while they served and mingled with the diners). They are extremely gracious and attentive in their service, and we are definitely going back before we leave for the East Coast.
Pros: friendly service, family owned and operated, gorgeous decor, convenient location
