Review content:
This office is absolutely out to make money as a sole purpose. They demand certain procedures (the expensive ones) are done upon initial visits and even use incorrect billing codes to try and make more money off of your visits. When asked for explanations and cost of procedures upfront before consenting, you are given answers like, 'oh, there isn't a way we can know that until it's completed and we deal with the insurance'. When asked for a ballpark because, ya know, some of us have high deductibles and will be paying out of pocket anyway, you are told, 'I can't give estimates, sorry. Do you want the appt or not? It will have to include xyz diagnostic procedures, though or we couldn't move forward with treating you.' Well of course every woman trying to get in for an appt here is anxious for this 'specialized help', so we have no choice but to consent. You must realize that when one office like this one is in not just this city, but the region, and maybe the country is so specialized and advertised, they might just have such market power that pricing freedom has become a major problem. Especially for consumers. This office falls under the category of a health care provider monopoly. I promise you that. You might want to reconsider your options and demand more of them in this area because this office is not out to help women, they are making a fortune off of us. Trust me. I can't imagine my overcharges, mischarges, and mistreatments multiplied times however many thousand women this office treats in a year - I read over 9,000. Find another doctor you trust to help you. Do not expect personalized care here or reason. It is a BUSINESS and regardless of the docs/NP's working here, the business is ran by the office personnel and it's a tight ship they run which I'm sure you've already started to experience from the first call you've made, right?
