I had two rules when looking for childcare: 1) no home based schools, and 2) no school with only a single teacher present. I wanted accountability for the teacher.\r \r We were happy at the childcare onsite at my employer, it was onsite and I trusted the system. But I kept hearing about this great ""teacher"" in my neighborhood. These comments came from Educational Professionals who study ""learning"" as a profession. Clearly they were people who were well trained to distinguish ""healthy learning enviornments"" from those that are not. Anyway, after meeting Keela and speaking to other parents who have sent their kids to her over the last decade or so... I realized what was missing and changed to Sensorial City. Keela is truly ""family"" to us and gives my child the love, nurture, and stimulation that is about as close as any parent can provide. I realized I initially shut her out because of my 2 rules which was cautious but short sighted on my behalf. \r \r Her facility is small and not as impressive in terms of resources as others might be... but to my kids... its perfect. My oldest son still asks to go back to ""visit"".. wants to make her gifts.... as do many other kids who are now in their teens. Both of my children were well prepared (socially and academically) for kindergarden.\r I can't say enough good about Keela and the commitment she makes to ""her"" kids.\r \r
