We've been going here for over 10 years for equestrian goods: nameplate belts, keychains, dog collars, throw pillows, one-of-a-kind bags, hunt appointments, saddle repair, custom chaps, etc. EVERYTHING made here is done by the owner (an English Master Saddler)- no assembly-line or lackey apprentice work. \r

Claire is brillant at custom work, too (she fully understands the horse, fit, etc.) Whatever you come up with, she can find a way to make it. Since she does EVERYTHING HERSELF, DON'T BE IN A HURRY. Unless you're looking for something she has in stock (great gifts), be prepared to wait a week (or a few) depending on the project. Checking in with her (instead of waiting for a call) is the best method we've found... \r

The shop is AUTHENTIC and as hardworking as the owner- chances are it'll be cluttered. If you're looking for snooty, this isn't the place. But with Claire's wit (and Bristish accent), it's worth the trip just to meet her!\r
