Monroe is definitely my salon of choice now that I live in San Marcos. I lived in Austin for six years where I either had to pay at least $50 for a good hair cut, or I had to go to the crumby chain salons where a good hair cut is few and far between. Monroe fits perfectly into my grad student budget, plus my cut and experience were fantastic.
Kenzie fit me into her Saturday schedule immediately. I called at ten and my appointment was scheduled for noon. Going from a bob to a pixie-esque cut (a la Audrey Tautou's latest cut), I cut off about three inches of my curly hair, and I am entirely pleased with the result. The stylist next to me even complimented Kenzie's work on my hair. Kenzie is detailed oriented and a pleasure to converse with.
In a word, Monroe is wonderful!
