I would never rent from anyone else! I moved from California 3 years ago and had no clue about Durham. Bob Schmitz Properties was so welcoming and accomodating. They really took my needs into consideration and bent over backwards finding me a place to call home. And I mean not just a box--but a HOME! My first place with this company was GORGEOUS with refinished hardwoods and tons of architectural detail. Not only that--but amenities that you would not expect tofind in a 1 BR duplex like my own washer and dryer. They even built a new deck on the back and put up a privacy fence! The office is a nice place to go and who needs more than same day service for maintenance? When I outgrew this place, they helped me find the perfect house! Even nicer than the duplex! Just transferred my lease, all of my deposit, my pet fees--all I had to do was move! I cannot imagine a nicer landlord. Only reason I will ever leave the house I currently live in is when I buy my own home. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
Pros: Variety and quality of properties, price, great service in office and with maintenance
Cons: Office not open on the weekends
