OK, so I brought my laptop in for a repair. I had a problem with a screen, it was dim. I warned the tech guy upfront that the screen was SLIGHTLY damaged and had a small leak. \r They spent quite a while looking at the laptop, but were not able to tell what exactly was wrong with it or how to fix it. They said they would have to send it to outside department and charge me few hundred for it. When they were putting the screen back together I hear a loud cracking sound, they looked alarmed, but assured me nothing was wrong. \r Well, the screen started working normally after a restarted the computer (!) - no $200+ bill required - and once it did I saw a huge crack and dark spots all across the screen. Needless to say I went back and explained what happened to the manager - Jeff, I think. He basically gave me a runaround with his corporate office and tried to deny the whole incident.\r Bottom line: they will not fix your computer, they will try to charge you for ""outside"" repairs and if they damage your piece in the process - you're stuck with it. \r
