Review content:
This review is strictly a recap of my foursomes experience without any intent to defame any one person. I am a member of the PGA of America and have been for 15 years, counting my apprenticeship! On Sunday July 17th 2011 my foursome teed off at 2:08. Halfway thru the back nine we were approached by someone that works in the Golf Shop about our pace. We checked the time and commented that we felt we were not playing slow. There were several twosomes behind us, that never seemed to be pushing. After being approached about our pace, we offered the twosome behind us an opportunity to play thru, they declined. BTW, our cart died on the second hole and we had to have a cart brought to us, this is relevant because it slowed us down a bit! We walked off the 18th green at 6:10, a 4 hour and 2 minute round, on a Sunday! I went in to explain how our round was disrupted by being asked to speed up when we were on pace, to no avail! The gentleman in the Shop was perfectly content to let us walk and never come back. My complanit fell on deaf ears as he showed me the door! The other three in my group backed me, to no avail. This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a golf course in my life, period! BTW, Dan the golf pro is someone I know and call a friend, he was not in on this day!
Sincerely,
Richard Brewer
