Review content:
Of my favorite furnishings stores, Auer House is the top. I have purchased many pieces here, and now I am at the place where I am adding to accessories. Freddi (store designer) is always so helpful and honest with her opinions that my confidence in her is what leads me back into the shop every time. There are a lot of furniture galleries in Fredericksburg, but Freddi's extensive knowledge, her willingness to search for what I need, and her cheerfulness even when I don't make a purchase is exactly what I hope for in personal service.
They do strive to carry furnishings that you won't see elsewhere. I was looking for buffalo hides recently, and guess what, they had the most beautiful tanned buffalo!
I like that my furniture is unique - and more tasteful than a lot of ""western"" looks that do not reflect the same quality of merchandise.
When you go in, if Freddi is not there, Jennifer is great! Although she is not the designer, she knows the showroom floor, her smile is contagious, and she has a can do attitude!
All in all, great store, beautiful showroom, and the gardens next to the shop are a wonderful place for hubby to sit while mom shops!
