Review content:
This place was everything I expected and more. The waiter was not the nicest guy, but that was to be expected because people go for the food. And i'm so glad I did. My boyfriend and I started with the 6 shrimp cocktail. Those were the biggest shrimp I have ever seen and they were delicious. We shared the steak for two and it was hands down the best steak we have ever eaten. We ordered it medium and it came out perfectly cooked and had the most delicious charbroiled exterior and most tender and flavoful interior. The creamed spinach was a success with my boyfriend who swore he hated spinach and the German potatoes were just ok. Save some room for dessert because everything comes with a big serving of thick delicious homemade whipped cream. I swear I could have just eaten just that for dessert alone but the ice cream it came on top of was great as well. When dinner is done, the waiter tosses some chocolate covered Peter Luger coins onto the table. The ambiance was great and the food was definitely worth the wait and the crowd, despite having reservations. We can't wait to visit NY again because we this place will definitely be at the top of list of places to visit again.
Pros: Best Steak in all of NYC
Cons: Make reservations, huge crowd everyday
