Review content:
We have had our LIfeShield security system for about 2 years now. I love the fact that it is a ""grid"" based system, which means there is no single point of failure. It is completely wireless, and has multiple forms of backup... such as using the internet, phone and even a cellular link if the lines are cut.
The monitoring is FAST.. one time I was changing the batteries in my smoke alarm and tested it. It did its normal BEEP BEEP BEEP and before I could get down off of my ladder the alarm went off and the phone was ringing within 5 seconds asking if everything was OK!
That was pretty cool!
I also like that it will text you when people (whom you authorize, like the dog sitter) come and go... and will even text you if someone doesn't arrive home on time (like a kid from school!).
All in all a fantastic system!
