Tony's has been a long-standing favorite in our family since my grandfather, Henry Jay lived on St. Charles Place in the 1950's and 1960's. I don't think I need to tell anyone who knows good food that Tony's is one of the best landmarks in Atlantic City. My family and I have tremendously savored the food here that remains consistent year after year. If you go on a summer weekend, you can be prepared to wait in a line that travels around the corner of the place, but this just adds to the anticipation of the great food within.\r \r The interior is classicly date by today's standard, however, one quickly gets lost in the aroma of the delicious food served here. The famous pizza has a thin, crispy crust with sweet tomato sauce and can be ordered with all the traditional toppings. The white clams and spaghetti are the best I have ever eaten. The cold roast beef sandwiches are served on hard crusted home made italian bread loaded with thinly sliced meat, a real favorte of mine!\r \r Where many restaurants in Atlantic City are pricey, this place has meals that are incredibly affordable, so much so that families are often seen dining together here. Tony's is open all year long and into the early morning hours which makes it a great spot to eat no matter the time.
