After having a bad experience at another Malden salon, I sought a more upscale place to get my hair braided and was lucky enough to find this one. The owner, Judy, was very professional, talented, and had a great and friendly attitude. I liked her immediately. It was easy to schedule an appointment to get the work done, and her prices were reasonable.
Unlike my other experience, Judy's work was NOT painful at all! She assured me that hair braiding, although a little uncomfortable at first, isn't supposed to cause a lot of pain.
She also did not make me feel strange despite the uniqueness of the project (I make synthetic dread falls - other salon owners looked at me strangely, overpriced the job, or actually made fun of me for wanting such a thing for hair extensions!), and she really enjoyed doing the work. She was actually excited about doing it! I found out during our conversation during the work, that she is an art student, and loved to do artful work.
I had a wonderful experience here that has overshadowed the poor one I suffered earlier this year. Now I want to recommend Judy's salon to everyone! Hers is the 3rd extensions salon that I have tried in Malden, (including Noelle, and Fallou) and she is by far the best!! She has all kinds of services - hair treatments, and hair replacement options to name a couple. You won't regret a trip to Intimate Whispers. Thanks Judy!!
