By far the best sports bar in Detroit. When the Tigers made the world series the wave actually went around the bar and restaurant about 5 times. The food is great and the service is better than most other places I've been to. I am a ""regular"" there now but the best part of Champps is that I can take clients in for lunch, take my family for dinner, go to watch the big game with a crowd or go in for some late night drinks. Families can benefit from their kids eat free every Tuesday. They have some awesome new drink specials for happy hour and late night. All the food is made from scratch and the portions are HUGE.\r \r I take my clients in for lunch all the time, my family two or three times a month but I head up there mostly for the sports.\r \r They have a lot of TVs (I figure around 20), including a 110 inch high def projection (I asked the manager), four plasma in the bar and three other large ""wall"" TVs. The biggest wall TV has a big screen and five smaller screens or it can be one very large screen. There isn't a bad seat. Their only drawback is they can't get games on Comcast local channels (being in Livonia) but they have every other package available.\r Pros: Great food. Great Service. A LOT OF TVs FOR SPORTS Cons: Can get loud - if your out for dinner and want quiet, probably not your place
