Review content:
We celebrated our first year anniversary at Liberty Bistro at the recommendation of the owners of a local bed and breakfast. The setting was historic, it is in the basement of an old courthouse with historical American themed photos everywhere, the service was top notch and the food was an epicurean delight. We started with an appetizer, Liberty House Spreads along with the perfect wine. Next came some amazing salads. My husband had the Freedom Filet, which he said was the best steak he ever had. My crab cakes were out of this world. My mouth still waters at the thought of that marvelous soufflé. The food was delicious, as well as perfectly heated, and served very promptly. The wait staff was delightful and friendly and seemed to enjoy serving us. The owner came by our table and cared about our dining experience. The prices for the entrees were very reasonable. Although I have visited New Braunfels several times, this was my first visit to the Liberty Bistro. It will not be my last. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner so lovely and memorable. You've made a loyal customer of us and hopefully many others!
Pros: Fresh local American cusine
Cons: Sometimes the menu changes and my fav's disapear :(
