We visited this place when it first opened and was disappointed. It's been several years and it was the restaurant one in our group chose as his birthday dinner restaurant. Our hungry group of 13 met here last night for appetizers, dinner, wine, specialty drinks, and desserts. What a huge mistake! Barbara and Brice were great. The menu was lack luster and the food? What can I say? It was not good and, considering what you got, it was pricey. One of my fellow diners ordered the lamb and, while he didn't want to complain, thought it was a bad piece of meat. Several of us tasted and confirmed that it had ""turned."" It was rotten and smelled. We brought the problem to our waiter, who jumped right in and took a sample tasting and agreed with us - a bad piece of lamb. The waiter told the owner who didn't care. The owner didn't offer a alternate dish, did not offer to reduce or discount the plate - didn't concern himself with making it right. Let me make it clear, we were NOT trying to get a free plate of food. To have my friend not be able to eat his entree was upsetting and it's my opinion that the owner's behavior was unforgivable. After dinner, another friend with our group spoke with the owner after we had paid for our meal and tipped our waiter, Brice. The owner would still not make it right! We will never return to eat there again - all 13 of us. If the owner is not interested in making it an enjoyable evening, we will happily take our business to other more deserving restaurants. Foodies beware!! Pass on this place and head to Huarache Grill or Morton's for your dining pleasures. This place serves up rotten food at high prices and expects you to eat it or tough luck. The customer isn't valued here. Forget this place. Pros: Interesting, historic building Cons: lackluster menu; lamb could not be eaten without risk
