Review content:
My daughter, son-in-law and I were stuck in an elevator in one of the government buildings downtown. When the maintenance crew arrived to open the doors the elevator was way below the ground level. I had an injured knee and it was very difficult for me to move about and those people kept telling me to just get out of the elevator. They ended up reinjuring my knee by forcing me out of there without proper help. When I told them about my injury they started calling me names and telling me it was my fault I couldn’t get out of their broken machine! I called David Achord and San Diego Injury Law Center immediately. I didn’t want to file a lawsuit, but I didn’t want my knees hurting again either, and so I certainly wasn’t going to let the elevator company’s negligence go unpunished, even if the government was involved. David and his team took my case, they stood up for me and got me a huge settlement. San Diego Injury Law Center kept me informed during the lengthy process and I really appreciated what they did for me.
Pros: A huge settlement!
Cons: The legal system takes forever
