Review content:
I cannot even begin to express to you how amazing this dojo is. Porta's is a family oriented, fantastic place to learn traditional Okinawan Karate. The dojo has always been about understanding your own body, your own mind, and your own spirit. You move at a pace where you are constantly being challenged, encouraged, and motivated to be the best that you are. The dojo fosters an amazing sense of community, many of the students become life long students. I began training when I was four years old, and all of these years later, I owe the greatest changing moments to Sensei and the dojo. Without them, I would not be where I am today. The dojo gave me confidence to handle bullies, gave me the self confidence that I needed to rise above the bullies at school, and in a world where bullying is becoming an increasing problem, having the training and the sense of community that the dojo brings to all of their students is literally life changing.
